Video & Animation

Our assignment for this project was to create an animation in Photoshop. I used version CS2 to create this animation. I first imported some pictures I had of my dog, then proceeded to adjust the images at times having to use the clone stamp to get rid of people that were in some of the backgrounds. I then created the background from a swatch of grass that I grabbed from one of the images. I used the transform tool and added lots of effects such as gradient overlay, shadows etc. and used the blur, smudge, and dodge tool in addition to applying some adjustment layers. Then I added text layers for the title and the poem at the end. I also tweened some of the animation frames. There are around 30 frames.

Spinning Masher

Here I used several images of the potato masher. First I extracted the potato masher, then used the warp tool in free transform on several of the images. I also used curves, invert, and gradient from the adjustment layer as well as filters. I also added a couple of distort filters to some of the layers from chapter 15 as well as liquify from chapter 18.

Part 1- Lines

In this exercise, we are to experiment with lines and draw different types of lines and then write down a specific emotion or feeling that each line evokes.

Part 2--Drawing

This assignment required us to draw, then scan our drawing and finally clean up the drawing.
